Headache Sequence

A headache is a very common sensation that is not caused by a serious illness but can also be caused by simple muscle tension. It is almost impossible to distinguish one type of pain from another. Chronic or recurring lung pain and migraines are very treatable with medication. But why take pills right away when youre trying to get a massage? Even if the pain doesnt go away completely you can ease your condition and teach the body not to be sensitive to all kinds of stress and learn to relax when it suits you.

So to relieve headache you must first relieve muscle tension which can be both physical and emotional. For the latter it can be said that if the cause of stress is eliminated in time they will pass by themselves. If such nervous tension is always present in your life then the headache can actually turn into a chronic one and the same muscle tension continues to cause it. In short the muscles are under constant tension which causes pain. For effective therapeutic massage you must first understand what affects you. There are two of them: the first is at the base of the skull and the second is at the top of the spine. Both eyes should be taken care of to avoid headache. It should be pressed slowly and very lightly as the points have increased sensitivity due to the large number of plexus nerves located on them. Try pressing lightly on one eye. In case of anxiety or worry you should stop exposure immediately.

Now consider some self-massage techniques that can be used almost anywhere for quick headache relief. These techniques will be more effective if you rest your elbows on the table and hold your head in such a way that allows your head to rest.

1. Smooth your forehead with the pad of your middle finger. Start the sequence from the superciliary and move up and to the side. Massage is necessary until the very hair growth line (although it hurts not in this area). When you have finished massaging the first area, move on to the second. To do this, go up one finger higher on the forehead and continue the same. Then repeat everything in the same sequence twice. Do not stop, even if the pain has stopped, until you massage your entire forehead.

2. With the base or soles of your feet, press on the temples and make a circular motion six times clockwise and counterclockwise.

3. Place your thumb on the bone behind the ear. Then press hard and release immediately. Massage in this way from the base of the skull to the center. This procedure must be repeated three times. If at the moment of pressing you feel tension in any area, then most likely this area is where the pain is coming from. If you find a place where the pain is concentrated, take a deep breath, and then exhale forcefully press and hold your fingers in this position, count to seven and release.

4. Tilt your head slightly forward and, with one hand, use the other hand to compress the neck muscles with effort. Keep it as you exhale. Massage your neck this way three times.

Now you know how to quickly get rid of headaches. But it is also worth recalling the contraindications to head massage, because some types of pain signals are diseases that need to be treated. So, if you find that relieving muscle tension doesn’t help you get rid of your headache, then you may be dehydrated or have a fever, hangover or some kind of infection. Also, constant constant headaches can be triggered by noise and chemical pollution. Massage should also not be used to treat migraines or severe recurring pain attacks. In this case, you must see a doctor or eliminate the pain.
